Enjoy the colors of autumn at the Danada Fall Festival!

Friends of Danada is a major participant in the annual Fall Festival which has become a showcase for the DuPage County Forest Preserve and attracts as many as 10,000 visitors on the second Saturday and Sunday in October of each year. The festival consists of equestrian shows with riders in costume, horse drawn hayrides, activities for children, delicious food, music and entertainment.

The Friends of Danada host visits to the Danada Model Farm via tractor drawn wagon rides and volunteers tell the story of Dan & Ada Rice, farming, crops, corn and more. In 2024 the Friends of Danada art show which attracts approximately 200 art and photo exhibits is cancelled due to renovations at the Danada House until October 2025.
